Not realising your full potential or achieving your goals? Could coaching help?Coach Supervison Mind Map by aspire2bWhy Coaching?
Coaching is a technique that focuses on the future whereby the agenda and goal is set by the individual. Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customise their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.

A coach is a non-judgmental individual and provides the client with time and space to reflect and improve.

Coaching also focuses on finding the answer, rather than focusing on the problem, through the use of skills, techniques, experience and being creative.

The ICF defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment. Coaches honour the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole.”
